About Us

Kampas Records is an independent record label from Finland. Our basic idea is to sign remarkably skilled new bands and help them to begin their career. The bands are carefully selected by people with years of experience in the music world, mainly as critics and otherwise large-scale consumers of music.
The motivation to our work solely comes from the love of quality music. Main emphasis, in the genre classified sense, is in rock and metal based music.
The label was established in October 1st of 2006. Since that date, the company has raised interest in several areas of the music scene throughout the world. This was made possible due to the very selective choosing of quality bands to be signed as well as working really hard all the time.
The company is owned entirely by a Mr. Ville Simonen. The financing of Kampas Records comes from private investors. We do not discriminate other kind of funding either as long as the investor's demands are reasonable and do not have an effect on our ways of action.

Future?

Kampas' plans for the future include several things. Mainly we plan to grow in number of released albums, in the financial sense and product availability. We, also, intend to become a more well-known label and remain a guarantee of quality tunes.
