| Ethereal Tragedy is a band formed in 2006 in Tabasco, Mexico, playing death metal influenced music, relying on a combination of melody, atmosphere, and some latin tunes to deliver their own brand of music. |
| After recording some homemade demos, the band's first self-produced studio recording was called "Dark Legions", and it was released in 2007. A lot of gigs and touring in their home-country were the result of that material, there was a great response for it, and this continued through summer 2008 when the band decided to start working on new songs. |
| But the best news was to come next, when the most important thing came across the band, a record deal was made on November 2008 with Kampas Records. |
| Ethereal Tragedy consists of Moisés González on vocals and guitars, Luis Vidal on guitars, Ismael López on bass, Alfredo Moriel on drums, and once again to join forces is Samuel López on keys. |
| No live appearances are planned for the immediate future, but Ethereal Tragedy live activity will recommence sometime in autumn 2009. The band is now really busy preparing for the recording of the next full-length album to be released in 2010. |
