| Horns Of Anguish was formed in 2004 by Filip Robertsson, Morgan Andersson and Roger Malm under the name Grandma's Vomit. In 2005 they recorded two demos, "Gemini" and "Zakka". These were printed in very limited quantities to mainly family and friends. |
| In 2006 they changed their name to Horns Of Anguish and recorded yet another demo, "Demo 2006". Roger quit the band shortly after, leaving Filip and Morgan without a guitarist. This however, did not stop the band from writing new music. Immediately after Roger quit, Filip and Morgan started working on new material intended for their next recording. In the meantime they also hired a new guitarist, Rasmus Bergman. Unfortunately this wasn't much of a succes and he was forced to leave after just a couple of months. The band then decided to remain a two-piece and started recording what was to become "Everlasting Apathy" in mid-2007. |
| The recording of "Everlasting Apathy" was a complete mess. Jobs got in the way, recording equipment wouldn't work and so on, and the demo didn't see the light until March 2008. Despite all the trouble they had, the band was very pleased with the result and worked really hard with promoting themselves. This was a huge step in their career as they immediately started getting good feedback, reviews and offers from record companies. |
| By the end of August 2008, Horns Of Anguish got an offer from Finnish label Kampas Records that they couldn't resist and decided to sign a contract. Watch out for their debut album in 2009! |
