| Sworrm are a 4 piece heavy rock/grunge/metal band from Lincolnshire, UK formed by Steve Walton and writer of Sworrm's music, the band has musically evolved into a mix of progressive, commercial and heavy rock. Sworrm quickly became very popular in just a few short months of gigging around the local scene and it wasn't long before the band began headlining at various metal shows around the country. |
| Sworrm have seen various line-up changes since forming a mere 2 years ago. It all started with song-writer and vocalist Steve Walton recording demo songs in a tiny spare room. Steve wrote a total of 8 demo albums working on improving the style and conviction of the music. |
| Steve met with bass guitarist Ben Kutzner and the rest soon fell into place. Sworrm performed their first gig in Sleaford, a sleepy town bursting with a vibrant underground music scene. Sworrm's very 1st gig got them banned for being \'too heavy\'!!! This inevitably gave the band nothing but good press and before too long Sworrm were getting serious attention. |
| Many long nights were spent in the drummer's cold damp garage sipping beer and working on new songs, eventually, the birth place of Sworrm's 1st single "All I See". |
| Soon came a time where a decision was final, we had to get this outfit on the road and pressure soon became apparent for some of the band. Vocalist Steve Walton recruited new guitarist Andy Santon and seasoned metal drummer Kristian Hardy to join the band, and since then Sworrm have never looked back. |
| Sworrm takes it's influences from a range of genres and decades, not wanting to fall too neatly into any of them. The unusual sound of the low A-tuned acoustic guitar have become a trademark texture coupled with emotive heavy riff driven melodies, piercing lead vocals, experimental and dynamical musical journeys. |
| Since then the line-up has remained and Sworrm are planning to work further with Kampas, stay tuned, we are just warming up. |
